Whoa! Gotta slow down just a minute to tell you all about myself. My entire name is Riley Snuzzlelopis... interesting? Hehehe! My foster Mom says I remind her of a Dr. Zuess character. She thinks I have the happy go-lucky personality of a Dr. Zuess character plus the fact that I have rather interesting looking "snuzzle" (nose). I am definitely a one of a kind eskie! I have a huge overbite...I've tried to get those new invis-line braces but they are not yet available in my area. This overbite does not hinder me in any way just makes me a litle more "handsome" than the regular eskie. Anyway that's what my foster parents say. Who am I to argue?

I love to play...run...play...sniff new things with my "snuzzle"... play... eat... play (Are you getting the picture here?) I have a floppy frisbee that is my absolute favorite toy. I will chase that dog-gone thing all over the yard! If I think one of my foster brothers or sisters is trying to get my frisbee the CHASE is on! I speed up my running to high gear and no one can catch me! I'm fast and proud of it. I think that the counterweight of my "snuzzle" has something to do with my speed.

I'm crate trained and housebroken. I would make an excellent agility dog after some formal training! I'm working on leash manners but hey no one is perfect! I do have a quiet side (sometimes)...if I've had a hard day keeping my frisbee away from everyone, I will sit with my Mom on the couch and watch a little TV. However during the commercials I do like
play...then back on the couch with Mom...then play...seeing a pattern?

I get along really good with my foster siblings. Sometimes I think that Pi, my foster brother, is a little jealous of the attention Dollee, my foster sister, pays to me. I believe that Dollee really admires my "snuzzle". I love my foster's granddaughter...she will throw that frisbee all day for me! Wow what fun.... play....play...play!

My life would be complete if I had a very special forever family that was mine!!! Someone to play with... love... play with... sleep with... play
with... eat with.... play with!!! HEHEHE! All you need to do is fill out an application and the PLAY begins!!

Love and Snuzzles!
Riley Snuzzlelopis (wink, wink!)

If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Jane: matt7731@bellsouth.net. You can also visit our website and sign-up to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

To get me to you, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad," which is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain portion of the transport. (We always ask that you, as the adopter, help out by taking the final leg.)

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you may have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you).

There is a $150 adoption fee for me, and please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
