Hi, my name is Rocco! I'm a 4-year old miniature-sized American Eskimo boy who stands quite tall at about 15 inches, but I only weigh 20 pounds. Though I was born blind in my right eye, you'd never be able to tell by the way I get around! ;o) Don't you think I'm as handsome and adorable as can be?

I'm neutered, current on all my shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention, as well as on flea and tick prevention. I'm also housebroken and kennel trained, and I LOVE to ride in the car. I do pretty well on a leash and am getting better with that every day. I could use some basic obedience training, but overall I'm very well behaved! It would be great if I were in a home with a fenced-in yard, because I like to run out the door looking for adventure-you know, there's a whole big world out there just waiting to be explored!

I'm pretty skittish at first around people I don't know (including kids) and will bark at them until I warm up to them, which usually takes a while. In the meantime I'll run and hide from them. (But hey, maybe I'm just playing a game of hide and seek, only they don't know it! HeHe!) I'm really a very good boy who loves being with my humans! I get along great with other dogs too, but we don't know about cats. I'm an energetic and entertaining little fella who loves to play with my stuffed toys (I can entertain myself quite easily), but I REALLY like to cuddle up on the sofa and watch TV while you hold me and stroke my soft curly hair!

I am waiting to find my new forever home-will that be with you? Do you have room for me in your home and your heart? I am very eager to please you and keep you company. If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you!
