My name is Lelia and I am currently fostering an Eskie that I need to find a different home for. Zan (the Eskie) was surrendered to me when his owners could no longer afford to take care of him. I had intentionally planned to foster him until I was able to find him a permanent home, however, my other rescue dog tested positive for heartworms and will have to undergo treatment ASAP and therefore my house needs to be as calm and quiet as possible for several months. Zan is a little over 5 years old, does great with other dogs and cats, and loves car rides and the water. Zan is unsure of new people who are not properly introduced to him. Zan is crate-trained but has to sometimes be gently encouraged to do so. He is neutered and up to date on his shots, however is not microchipped.
I would really like him to go to a home that has experience with the breed and can help him have better manners with strangers. For more information please contact
