PICK ME, PICK ME!!

I am new into the rescue and they have named me Fergie.  If I was a male, I'm sure my name would be Dash because I love to run.  Matter of fact, I will definately need a fenced yard because I like to run and play.  And, right now, I am really enjoying playing with one of my foster brothers! Watch the video below of me and one of my foster brothers playing.  I am the small one, of course!

 I do pull when I'm on a leash so some training wouldn't be a bad idea although I know sit, stay and down. I am very smart and want to please you.   I am not fond of the kitties as I will chase them.  And young kids are a no-no too.  But, if you want a lovable little girl, then that's me!  I will easily fit on your lap when I'm tired and I'll even fall asleep.

I am housetrained and crate-trained.  Oh..one other thing.  I really don't like to be left alone.  I would do very well if I had another doggie friend or if one of my new family members stayed at home.

Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
