Hi everyone!  I am sweet little Ruthie.  I have been through so much but you would never guess it because I am a loving and trusting eskie girl.  I have been housed in a shelter since August because my siblings and I were confiscated from my owners due to neglect/abuse.  The shelter just released us for rescue and a kind ERU volunteer that lives near the shelter came and scooped me up.  She fell in love with me right away.  She could not keep me so I am now being fostered in MD.  There are lots of dogs here and I get along with everyone.  I like to snuggle up by the humans and get my tummy rubbed.  I like to sleep with my human on her bed (along with everyone else!).  I am a very mature girl inside and outside the house.  If you are interested in adopting me please e-mail my foster mommy Heidi at hortmeye@gmail.com

 

Update: I just had my teeth cleaned and two teeth removed.  One tooth was fractured and the other was just hanging on by a thread.  I am feeling so much better now.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
