Hi everyone!  I am Ivan and I am ready for my forever family.  I made it all the way from Tennessee to New Jersey in hopes to see my first snowfall.  I am Heartworm Positive and being treated with the "gentle method".  Some of the things I enjoy are: being brushed; going for walks; eating my canine brother and sister’s food hee hee; playing with my toys and sleeping.  I really love to cuddle. If you let me sleep in bed with you, I will lay in one spot and stay there for the entire night otherwise, I’m very independent and will go sleep in the living room or on my own dog bed.  I’m completely housetrained and know basic commands.  I’m a well behaved loving boy who just wants a family of my own.  Please email my foster mommy if you want to know more basmith74@gmail.com

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
