I survived some terrrible abuse most of my life. I was kept chained up in a garage and beaten so badly by my owner that I have only 2 nails left in my front paws. Finally I was rescued by this angel. She owns some kennels and keeps me there but she no longer has room for me. Besides, she tells me that I need a new home with people who can spend time with me and I can stay inside a house and sleep on a bed, and not in a cage. I love to play and I know how to sit when told to and I give the best kisses! I love water, whether it be in a pool or a squirt from a hose or running through a sprinkler! Please won't you be my new home? I only weigh 13 lbs so won't take up much room! I need you and will love you more than you can imagine, please help me! Caretaker's notes: Hero is a wonderful little dog who had years of abuse but still wants to love. He is terrified of children or anyone who approaches him fast or being touched in the neck area. Because he was never taken out I had to housebreak him and now he is fully housebroken. He is very smart and eager to learn. He has a spunky personality. I don't have any room for him in my kennel and have been trying to find him a new home locally without sucess. He needs a home with lots of love and he will give lots of love back! He is shy around new people but warms up quickly, is crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Hero is neutered and up to date on his shots.
