Hi There! My name's Riley and I recently flew in all the way from California so I could be rescued.  Not many dogs can say they have gone for a plane ride, so that's was quite interesting.  But now I am safe and sound here in Denver and looking for my new permanent home. 

I am 9 months old, so I'm still a baby!  I'll need lots of training, and I'm really looking forward to learning all kinds of commands and tricks with my new owner.  It sounds like so much fun!  Since I came from a shelter, the nice rescue people aren't sure whether I am fully housetrained or not, but they think I might be...if not totally, then very close!  I'm a little shy when I first meet people, but once I get introduced, I'm a total lovebug!  And I get along great with other dogs...I just love to play with them! 

Well, that's all about me for now...but I'd really love to get to know you!  I would give you eskie kisses and love and you could rub my belly...mmmm, doesn't that sounds great!?!?!?  If you would like more information about me, you can contact Heather at eskierescuer@gmail.com.  I sure hope to hear from you soon as I am more than ready to find my forever home!

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
