Hi, Barnaby here!

I am 8 years old and I’m a friendly, nice boy with a very good disposition. I’m quite affectionate and I LOVE to be petted. I tend to become devoted to my owner and will want to be your constant companion - in fact, I will follow you around everywhere!

My perfect forever home would be one where I could be the center of your universe and where I could get ALL of your attention. I would thrive with an at-home retired person and sharing a special one-on-one relationship and bond. I get along well with other dogs, but I prefer them to be about my size or larger. I don't think I would enjoy a home with the activity and noise of kids. I am very smart, so I need an experienced and smart owner - preferably one who has had an Eskie before and understands our Eskie quirks!

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
