Hi!  My name is Hobbs and my brother, Calvin, and I are looking for a new home together.  We have been together all of our lives and we really love each other so we really want to find a home where we can be together.  We are young boys – only a year and 4 months so we have lots of energy and enthusiasm for life!

My brother and I are both housetrained and know how to use the doggie door.   We do okay with other dogs but we do like to bark at them when we first see them.  Actually we like to bark at people we don’t know too.  We want you to know that we are there!  We haven’t been around cats yet, so the nice rescue people aren’t sure how we will do around cats.

We are very active and curious and we love to run and play!  We are very athletic and can jump a bit too.   I’m a little more reserved than my brother, Calvin, and I am more submissive.  I am a really sweet boy and I love to be picked up and held…you might notice one of my pictures where someone picked me up and I fell right to sleep.  I just love to be held and cuddled!!  People keep telling me how beautiful I am and how big and gorgous my eyes are...(blush)...it can be a little embarrasing.  :)

Since we are young, we are going to need someone who will give us some training and tons of exercise.  A yard to run and play in would be awesome!  We are both really looking forward to cuddling with and loving our new owners.  We’ll give you lots of love and eskie kisses!  You won’t ever regret letting us join your family!

If you are looking for a couple of happy, energetic friends and have the time to give us love and training, we will make you so happy!  Please consider giving us a chance to be in your family so we have a family to love and take care of!

 Love, Hobbs

*** Colorado ***: If you're interested in me and my brother and would like more information, please contact Chris at chrisb@eskierescuers.org.   You can also visit our website at www.eskierescuers.org and fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process.  Thank you and WOOF! Hobbs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
