Well I am one of the luckiest dogs around. I wound up in a very small shelter in GA where my owner turned me in. Eskie Rescuers sent someone down here to pull me and when she got here, realized I really probably did not have a lot of Eskie in me. She called a director and she said pull me anyway, that we would work with an all breed rescue to find me a home.

I was boarded for a couple of days and then went to one of Eskie Rescuers fosters in GA who have such big hearts they cannot say no even though they were ready for a break! Fortunately my winning ways and personality endeared me to their hearts and they said I could stay until a home was found for me.
I am going to do a bit of bragging here but my foster family will agree with it all. I am one really smart dog with impeccable indoor manners. I am gentle and love attention although I am not “needy”. I get along with other dogs and cats and do like to sleep on the bed at night even if it is at the foot or far corner. I sleep the whole night through without moving!

I am housetrained and have had no accidents. If I need to go out I come and lay my head in your lap to let you know.

As far as my health I am young and strong all up to date on shots and spayed. If you have a home that wants the love I have to share please contact Eskie Resucers United at contact@eskierescuers.org

Oh by the way the owner that gave me up to the shelter called me Trouble and so that is my name. I also go by Husky Girl. I truly am the farthest thing from being any trouble unless you count the trouble you will have trying not to fall in love with me!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
