Welcome precious Yogi to the R'Eskie Ranch in Maryland. Yogi is the sweetest pumpkin. She has been through two traumatic experiences in a short time. Her beloved owner passed away and Yogi was found near his body. Then she found herself in a shelter for several weeks. She came to me very frightened and unsure. All four of my eskies have been very kind and gentle with her, and we are all giving her space to decompress.
Yogi is not only a gorgeous eskie girl, but she has a very gentle spirit. Yogi is six years old and a little overweight. We go on daily walks and she is on a healthy diet. Each day she seems a little more confident in her new surroundings.
We are thankful that Yogi made her way here for healing, and hope that her beloved dad can rest in peace knowing his little girl is safe and loved.

Good with Dogs
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
