India is a 10 year old female and weighs 20 pounds. She was surrendered to Eskie Rescuers United with her 11 year old sister, China. While it would be nice to keep the sisters together, they could be separated. India is the alpha and dominates with her outgoing and friendly personality. She would likely adjust very well in any active home, where she can be a part of everything that is going on. In her foster home, she is literally glued to her foster mommy or daddy’s side.
India is quite active and loves to race around the house playing with China. She is SUPER sweet and friendly, loves people, is very sociable, and enjoys playing with kids too. She is good with other dogs. She has not been cat tested, but her previous owner said that she and China would likely find chasing a cat to be great fun. India is in very good health.

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
